Helping You Achieve Better Health
For many individuals with a raised Body Mass Index (BMI), the risks of excess weight are all too familiar. You’ve likely heard it from doctors: “lose weight.” Society echoes the same refrain. You may have your own desire to make a change. Yet, despite this constant message, practical, effective, and compassionate support can be frustratingly hard to find.
I want to change that.
At my clinic, I offer a face-to-face service that combines personalised care with National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE)-approved medication. This isn’t about drastic surgical options, which, according to gastroenterologists, often result in weight regain over time or a return to pre-surgical weight. Instead, I provide a sustainable, holistic approach to weight loss.
Your Support Team
At the clinic, you’ll have access to a dedicated multidisciplinary team:
• Dietitian: Laura Foster will help you navigate practical, sustainable dietary changes tailored to your needs.
• Physical Trainer: Victoria Kelly will support your fitness journey with realistic and achievable goals.
• Psychotherapist: Philip Blake will address the psychological effects of weight struggles and offer tools to help you succeed.
Throughout your treatment, you’ll have access to ongoing support—something remote websites or impersonal medical services simply can’t provide.
Understanding the Challenge
We are creatures with bodies largely unchanged from thousands of years ago, a time when we might eat every three days. Today, we eat three times a day, often consuming foods with three times the caloric value. While this is a simplified perspective, it highlights one of the key challenges modern society faces
Society’s messaging around weight loss often oversimplifies the issue: “Just eat less!” or “Eat less and move more!” This kind of advice isn’t just unhelpful—it’s dismissive. We would never tell someone with depression to “just smile more.” Instead, we provide them with medication, therapy, and compassionate care to inspire meaningful, long-term change.
That’s the philosophy I bring to weight management: combining medication, therapy (dietary, physical, and psychological), and personal support to create lasting improvements. When you start to feel better, look better, and regain control, those positive changes have a way of building on themselves.
Why I Started This Clinic
A few years ago, I was asked to write a treatment pathway for Type 2 Diabetes in Jersey, and that’s when I first encountered a group of medications known as GLP-1 analogues. These medications proved effective at improving sugar control in patients with both Type 2 Diabetes and a raised BMI.
Fast forward to more recent times, I had patients in another clinic using weight-loss medications they’d purchased online without medical supervision. They were seeking a safer, more structured approach—and frankly, I wasn’t impressed with what was available locally or online.
This inspired me to act. Patients deserve better: a safe, personalised, and evidence-based pathway to weight loss that supports both their physical and mental health.
A Note on Medication
For legal reasons, I cannot directly advertise prescription-only medications on this website. However, I can provide education and information about how they work. My focus is on ensuring that any medication used is prescribed and managed responsibly, I do not make any money from the prescribing of the medication - which is how other clinics work.
